As an experienced wood floor restoration service provider, Romani Restoration understands the importance of delivering exceptional results. We take pride in our years of experience, which have given us the necessary knowledge, skills, and expertise to handle different types of wood floors, from hardwood to softwood and everything in between. We also have the appropriate equipment and tools for the job, including sanders, buffers, and finish applicators, among others.
One of the most important aspects of our wood floor restoration service is proper preparation. We know that preparation is key to achieving the best possible results.
The Right Team For The Job
We know that preparation is key to achieving the best possible results. This includes identifying the type of wood, assessing the condition of the floor, and determining the best approach for restoration. We take the time to thoroughly evaluate each floor, looking for issues such as scratches, dents, and gouges, as well as any signs of water damage or discoloration.
We also understand the importance of regular maintenance to extend the life of newly restored wood floors. We provide valuable advice on how to maintain your floors, including tips on cleaning and avoiding potential damage from pets, furniture, and moisture. We recommend that our clients perform regular maintenance to keep their floors looking their best. This may include a light cleaning and sanding, followed by the application of a new coat of finish to the surface of the floor.
Of course, as a wood floor restoration service provider, we understand that restoring and staining natural wood floors can be a time-consuming and challenging process. However, with our expertise and experience, we can ensure that your floors will be restored to their former beauty. Here are the general steps that we follow in restoring and staining natural wood floors:
-Inspection and Preparation: We begin by inspecting the floors for any damage, such as cracks, gaps, or loose boards. We repair any damage and ensure that the floors are level and clean before beginning the restoration process.
-Stripping and Sanding: Once the floors are prepared, we use specialized sanding equipment and stripping techniques to remove any old finish, scratches, or other damage. We carefully choose the right grit sandpaper to avoid damaging the floors during the sanding process.
-Staining: We use high-quality stains to provide a long-lasting and beautiful finish. We test the stain in a small, inconspicuous area first to ensure that you are satisfied with the color.
-Applying Finish: After the stain has dried, we apply a clear coat of polyurethane to provide a durable, protective coating that helps prevent scratches, scuffs, and other damage.
-Drying: We allow the floors to dry thoroughly between each step, ensuring that the finish is even and well-applied.
